The marching machine or also known as troop blocks. This percussion instrument simulates the sound of army troops crossing a bridge or marching down the street or entering / invading a town— the sound effect as used in Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps 1991 show “Miss Saigon”, or the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps 2008 show “Spartacus”.
Played it on a piece of plywood, steel or a plastic barrel.
